The woke go to extreme measures in order to not offend a minority and thus will inconvenience and offend the majority. For some reason, they get to pick and choose who that minority is. There are silent majorities as well as minorities that are not represented, considered, chosen, offended, and outright banned by the woke rules that others are not allowed to partake in the making of. This is contrary to what our founding fathers wanted. They did not go for rule by popular vote because they did not want a majority to trample on individual rights. Now when an influential group holds the same opinion without basis in facts that opinion is regarded as trustworthy and overrides real facts. I am inclined to think that a part of the problem has stemmed from the desire of many to treat theories as accurate and teach them as if they are facts or even as if they are scientific law. It is crazy how many opinions are being pushed without being vetted first and taken at least beyond a hypothesis level.
Some will say that even my line of reasoning here is not accommodating and is too rigid. But when dealing with truth, opinion, and facts somewhere things rigid and unmoveable need to come into the discussion. To take a simple example of math everyone has to agree that 1 + 1 = 2. And of course, the agreement has to be also that how many 1 is and how many 2 is in addition to the agreement of what is actually being counted. Yet when it comes to English words our definitions are being torn apart and what is foolish and misguided is now being treated as proper and acceptable. Everyone needs to learn to be offended and still be respectful. We have forgotten our manners and what our morals are let alone what our morals are based on. Everyone has the right to do anything but not everything is good. Just because someone can do something does not mean they should. It also does not mean no one should force people not to do something unless it is criminal by pre-defined laws by elected officials and not defined by a mob. What are our moral laws based on? I know what they should be based on and have been based on historically. But as time continues that foundation has been moved away and not replaced with anything and without it few can logically provide a real foundation. What are your morals based on? What is right?
