It seems that many have forgotten an important truth “that all men are created equal” (from the Declaration of Independence). If this is the truth then what is this race talk about? It destroys this foundational truth. It also destroys the union of this nation. I am not in favor of any group losing their identity, but we need to be very careful because putting the identity of various groups over another group and more important than our union will cause a civil war to be inevitable. We need to get back to the commonality we once had for us “to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” (from the Constitution of the U.S.). We need to put our focus and our drive forward toward these things or war will break out. We need to put these things of a higher priority over race or any kind of groupings. Are we really “dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal”(The Gettysburg Address, Abraham Lincoln, 16th U.S. President)? Are we up to the task? If not then we need to prepare for anarchy, for mob rule, or even civil war. We need to be proactive in what our founding fathers set before us. They started the journey for us and could not finish it. It is up to us to continue. We as a nation have lost sight of the mission that was given to us. We need to embrace the act of forming a perfect union, establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility, and secure the blessing of liberty to us and our kids. That is no longer the mission many are acting on and the exact opposite of what is going on right now. Our leaders need to be held accountable to the Constitution and the goals that our founding fathers set before us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
